Combination skin is confusing: your forehead, nose and chin shine after two hours, while your cheeks are dry or normal. Use oily-skin products all over and your cheeks dry out — use heavy creams and your T-zone breaks out. The answer is a routine that treats each area according to what it needs.
How do I know my skin is combination?
- Visible shine and pores in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin).
- Cheeks that are normal or dry, without shine.
- Blackheads on the nose, and sometimes tight cheeks after cleansing.
The rule: hydrate the whole face, treat the T-zone only
Morning
- A gentle cleanser (not harsh, so your cheeks don't dry out).
- REVIVE Hyaluronic all over while damp — light, water-based hydration that won't clog pores.
- BALANCE Niacinamide 10% — focus on the T-zone to regulate oil.
- A light moisturizer (gel or lotion).
- Sunscreen.
Night
- 2–3 nights a week: CLARITY Salicylic Acid 2% on the T-zone only, on completely dry skin, then REVIVE and moisturizer.
- Other nights: REVIVE → BALANCE → moisturizer.
Summer and winter aren't the same
- In summer: a lighter moisturizer, and REVIVE plus BALANCE in the morning may be enough.
- In winter: cheeks need a richer moisturizer — apply it to the cheeks only and keep a light one on the T-zone.
Common mistakes
- A strong cleanser on the whole face to fight shine — it dries out the cheeks.
- Salicylic acid all over the face — the cheeks don't need it.
- Skipping moisturizer because the skin is "oily" — the T-zone responds with more oil.
FAQ
Should I buy products for oily or dry skin? Neither across the whole face — water-based hydration all over, and oil and pore treatment on the T-zone only.
Is there a ready set for combination skin? The Hydration & Clarity bundle includes REVIVE, CLARITY and the body butter, and the Complete Care bundle includes all three serums.
